Smith St. Foods was born from a simple vision - a passion for good quality food and a love for the Illawarra region.

Head Chef and Owner, Shaun Smith began his culinary journey as an apprentice at Cronin’s Gerringong Hotel before setting out to explore the world of fine dining in Melbourne, Sydney and London. Beyond the restaurant scene, Shaun has had extensive café, baking and catering experiences working side-by- side with some generously talented and upcoming chefs. Coming full circle, Shaun returned to Gerringong in 2015 with one goal in mind, to bring city eats with local convenience, back to his hometown for his family, friends and community to enjoy.



With origins as a simple food delivery service and exploding into other dining and catering options, Smith St. Foods offers the local community a product like no other in the surrounding area.
From hearty winter-styled dinners delivered to your home to enjoy in the tradition of the family meal, to summer hampers that take the hard work out of cooking during the holidays, Smith St. Foods is able to bring the menu to you, no matter the season.

Then of course, what would an event be without the breaking of bread! Food is often at the center of a celebration and so it needs to be both special and approachable.
